Wow, I can't believe it's been over six months since I've updated my livejournal!! Today I finally passed my driver's license test!!! And I got my computer tower back. w00t!!!!!!!

My fan in my computer tower is broken, so my computer keeps shutting down to keep the tower from overheating. Until I get a new fan, I'm not going to bother going on the computer, since it only stays on for about an hour at a time. I can't really make any icons or anything cause I'm afraid it'll shut down while I'm in the middle of it. It shouldn't take too long to fix it, but who knows.....

I'm not much of a poker player, but I like to play on betzip.com, since it's free to play. Well, I got in a tournament that pays 10$ cash if you get first place. I believe there were about 500-600 people to start with, and I ended up making it all the way and winning!!!!!! I always thought it was impossible to do, but somehow I pulled it off! I know it's only ten bucks, but it's still pretty damn exciting! I still can't believe it. I'm gonna have to stay up longer now 'till I calm down a bit. HOOOOOOOAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

In just over a year's time I've managed to lose over 20 pounds and I feel awesome! Last summer I got sick and tired of complaining about being 'chubby' so I finally got off my butt and decided to do something about it. I started out around 150lbs (not really sure cause our scale sucked and never worked right) and at 5ft. 3, that made me feel pretty crappy. So I started eating less junk and exercising almost every day. Now over a year later I'm down to around 128lbs and went from a size 14 to a size 8. Now I seem to have more muscle than flab, lol. Around May of this year I started doing sit-ups every day and could only do about 10, but now I can do around 40-50. I think my stomach's getting a little flatter, and I can tell I have some muscle building there as well. I had tried before to lose weight, and always ended up quitting, but this time I stuck to it and I'm glad I did. And I'm proud of myself for doing it. I can't wait to see what I'll look like in another year!
